A very fine early to mid19th century Victorian period eighteen carat gold ring.
Bezel rub over set with an square cut antique old mine cushion shape diamond of 4.3 mm and approximate weight of one half carat (0.5 ct)
The diamond is surrounded by 10 x 2 mm turquoises and a further 3 turquoise to each shoulder with grain style bezel settings.

Condition is excellent with no damage to diamond or turquoises

The diamond is white with excellent clarity showing no inclusions under 8x loupe

The turquoises are not perfume or oil damaged and retain full blue colour.
This ring has led a carefully cherished life and shows little use at all - a rarity.
The ring is marked 18ct to inner shank with maker's stamps of CS and FS
